PCBs are meant to hold electronic components and provide them with a mechanical means to connect them together electrically. It consists of different resistors, capacitors, active circuits which are held together through electricity. Typically, PCBs are made up of different layers. Continue reading

What Causes PCB Failure?
Printed circuit boards are the dynamic forces forming the core of each and everything that we use ordinarily — be it smart phones, control panels for industrial equipment, or the display screens. With that being noted, when a PCB fails to function or perform, it interrupts our individual and professional lives tremendously. Continue reading
Lamination and Drilling of PCBs
PCBs are laminated in order to strongly bond together. Once the PCB panels are fixed with traces, they will undergo a process known as Automated Optical Inspection (AOI). During this process, the inside layers are examined in opposition to design rules based on the data stored in the gerber files. If it is permissible and found practical, some level of repairs and fixes can be made at this stage. Continue reading
